"Cherry Blossom Room" showcases a visual element that has been present in Junko's life from her childhood living in Osaka, Japan, to her time now in Washington, D.C. The cherry blossom, or sakura, gives a sense of hope and happiness to all that see them, a feeling that this piece seeks to evoke in guests to Junko's home and visitors to art showcases at her home studio.
